What is permanent makeup? Permanent makeup (intradermal pigmentation) is a revolutionary method of applying micro insertions of natural pigments into the dermal layer of the skin. This state-of-the-art technique is specifically designed to be safe. Is it painful? We use several different topical anesthetics to make the procedures comfortable. Our clients routinely tell us they were surprised that the discomfort was so minimal. Is there much down time? Typically, almost none. You may not want to schedule a big social event the same day, but you can generally resume normal activities right away. Who benefits from permanent make-up? People with allergies to regular make-up, or those who have difficulty applying make-up. Also, athletic people and those with oily skin who tend to "shed" make-up easily. How long does each procedure take? At minimum, about 2 hours. Multiple procedures take longer. We always allow adequate time so that your procedures are not rushed. Is it safe? What is the cost?
