About our Acupuncturist PDF Print E-mail

Lei Shaw, L.Ac., is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

acupuncture-redShe earned her Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe, NM.  She worked as a resident doctor at the University Hospital at Chengdu Traditional Chinese Medical (TCM) University, one of the best TCM hospitals in China.  She has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine since 1995.

She served as a board member for the Indiana Acupuncture Alliance and is a fellow with the American Association of Oriental Medicine.

Essence of China also serves as a resident training site for I.U. Medical Center.
